Delete your Koma account

Koma lets you permanently delete your account and the personal data associated with it, at any time. There is no charge, and you do not need to contact us first.

How to delete your account

1. Open the Koma app and sign in.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Tap “Delete account”.
4. Confirm. Your account is closed and deletion begins immediately.

If you cannot sign in

Email privacy@heykoma.com from the email address on your Koma account and ask us to delete it. We will verify the request and delete your account.

What is deleted

Everything you provided or created in Koma: your profile and email, your transactions, budgets, goals, family-support and lent-out records, and your notification tokens. After deletion, your data is removed from our production systems within 30 days, and from backups on the following backup rotation.

What we may keep

We retain only what the law requires us to keep, such as records needed for tax or accounting, and only for the period the law requires. Anything kept is minimized and is not used to identify you for any other purpose.
